For centuries, interior design has been popular among many people and as each year passes by, we have new decorations and even a new sense of style. Have you ever wanted to decorate your home so it looks like an Arabian palace, but really don’t know where to start? Well, we have just the treat for you. We’ve compiled an interior design guide below, based on beautiful flowing red curtains, a patterned rug, among many other home decor items to get you started on your Arabian sanctuary. However, you need to know which room you want to decorate in this manner. Let’s start with the bedroom for an example. If you are decorating any other room, you can copy this similarities easily.

1. Furniture
To create an “old age” look, you want to use furniture that is not modern. This means no black, white, or brightly colored pieces of furniture around your room. You’ll want to use only wood,, preferably streaked with slightly different hues and better yet – carved.

2. Flooring
Obtaining a brown carpet is very important, as you don’t want to disturb the other colors within the room. Over this, you can add gold and red Persian rugs. It is recommended you use one single rug for the bedroom or a few smaller ones.

3. Lighting
Take a trip to the store to find the proper lighting. Usually, you want a lamp base which is made from wood – often carved in a particular manner. Also, you can get specially carved lamps which show animals such as elephants, monkey’s, etc. They can either be engraved or painting on. As for the lamp shade itself, go with something bright like a deep red, burg handy color.
